Pablo's Paradox It's been an arduous journey, striving to make subject matter transcend artistic expression. My work revolves around urban wastelands, but it's not about the buildings or the abandoned places themselves. I manipulate light to make the ordinary become extraordinary. I try to capture the peace and hope that resonate from these empty places. Photography enables me to focus on small pieces of reality one would not ordinarly appreciate. A dissection of reality where subject matter gives up its role to light, where contrast and texture combine to reveal emotion. Emotions perceived through site, Visual Onomatopoeia.
Biographical I've have a ringing in my right ear and it's driving me mad. It's like an old TV with no sound someone never shut off. I fear what a doctor may say, so I seek solice in a pair of headphones. I don't listen loud, and it's of little interest to most, but I'll listen to anything to muffle this sound.
